Enderby in the 50's

Anyone remember Enderby, and the granite quarry?
They had a small cinema, some good pubs and great people.

I lived in Narborough but often went to that little cinema -  it was a laugh because some of the seats had no back to them !!  Had fun though.

I also went to the cinema there.  My first snogging session was in the back row with a girl called Beverly.  I also remember seeing the Dambusters and Norman Wisdom's "Trouble in Store".  Brill films. :D
