New Book on Leicester in WW2
« on: 16:44:15, 04/05/14 »
Hello everyone. The Mercury have just reviewed my new book on Leicester in WW2, and I wrote an article the day after to commemorate the 70th anniversary of an unfortunate pre D-Day event. To see both of the Mercury articles do a Google search for - WW2 holyoak leicester mercury.
The book is available in several shops (Waterstones, New Walk Museum, Quinns (Market Harborough) and the Kibworth Bookshop).
I'm putting together a few webpages to support the book, which include a Roll of Honour for the city: if you have any information on family members who served or were killed in WW2 (including pictures), I'd be happy to put it on the site (which you can find by searching Google under - leicester in ww2 holyoak).
Thanks all
