A few of the bars and clubs on Churchgate are supposedly haunted: the Long Stop, Cricketers and the former Freewheeler night club have ghosts. I don't know which venues they are now they have all been renamed.
Braunstone Hall has ghosts too it's rumoured.

The only ghosts people see in the pubs are the ones inside their head, usually the result of too much booze.

Joan Stephens (Leicester Mercury) wrote a review on a book ''Waiting for Jack''.It's a story about life (no pun intended) in Museums including one as a railway station with its own ghost - could be based in Leicester(shire)?
